What is GSM Field Suite?

GSM Field Suite provides RF planning and drive-test tools for LTE/5G engineers: Cell Coverage Planner for coverage prediction and client-ready PDF reports, and Network Drive Test for Android field measurements.

Do these apps replace TEMS or other drive test tools?

Designed for quick field checks, Network Drive Test is not a replacement for full protocol-level drive-test platforms, scanner measurements or specialist acceptance workflows.

Do I need any special equipment?

No special equipment is required. Coverage Planner runs in a web browser; Network Drive Test uses the cellular information exposed by a compatible Android device.

Which Android versions and frequency bands are supported?

Network Drive Test displays radio measurements exposed by Android telephony APIs. Available measurements depend on the device, modem, Android version, OEM implementation and network technology.

Do the apps work without an internet connection?

Network Drive Test can collect available device measurements in the field. Coverage Planner requires a web browser and an internet connection for its mapping and report workflow.

Are the apps free?

Network Drive Test is free to download and use. The web Coverage Planner has a free plan and a Pro plan at €15/month with PDF and KML report export.
